Quite near the Residence - you can reach it also by feet - there is the Golf Club “Le Pavoniere”, where is possible to play golf all the year in a relaxing and pleasant place.

Close to the Golf you can find the park “Cascine di Tavola”, that border with the wonderful “Villa Medicea” in Poggio a Caiano. The park, originally an agricultural estate, property of Lorenzo the Magnificent, offers the possibility of quiet walks along the paths planted with trees or pleasant stops on the wide lawns. In front of the park is available a game park for children.

Few kilometers far away from the Residence is it possible to visit the “Villa Medicea” in Poggio a Caiano. Designed by Giuliano da Sangallo for Lorenzo the Magnificent and built around 1480, was the summer residence of the Medici family. Example of the Reinassance architecture, it is surrounded by a very beautiful park. Inside is possible to admire important frescos, in particular the lunette frescoed by Pontormo, one of the masterpieces of Florentine Mannerism.
